The pastor is preparing to begin a Catechism Class.  Catechism is an ancient word that simply means "learning".  Church catechism (some may call it "Confirmation") is a time and process where the student learns more of our faith and understanding of God, the church and their own role in God's kingdom.  It is also helpful in the life of a person who is contemplating making their public profession of faith and receiving the gift of Baptism. If you or your child/children would like to participate in Catechism, please contact the pastor.  Several have already expressed interest and we want to insure that we include everyone.  Once the group is known we can work out the scheduling details.  Catechism is a very positive event in the life of a church and in the young lives involved - please keep this in your prayers.
